Twitter Tuesday: 07.20.10

August 10, 2010 Uncategorized No Comments

On July 20, 2010 we tweeted: To our writers: How much, if any, of your vision would you compromise in order to get published? #TwitterTuesday

Here were your responses:

@Edwina_Cullen: @fictionistawksp As much as makes sense to me. I would hate to fumble about my own book.

@aylah50: @fictionistawksp I would say none, I’m kind of attached to my eyes! #TwitterTuesday

@WritingPeriod: @ I would say vision always refers to a future goal, so giving that vision up to realize publication seems self-defeating.

@DariaAkasha: @fictionistawksp as close to none of it as possible otherwise i’ll take my stuff elsewhere or self publish and try again w/ another piece.

Here were some responses on Facebook:

Siobhan Mary Fuller none

Antoinette A Lakey Very little!

Linda Prather None.

Donna Kiser yep, none. just had this discussion with a friend who said that i should write whatever sells to make money and THEN write what i want. OMG-NOOOOOO! don’t do it!!

Monica Eva Fashfellow VanBeekum Well…considering I have to edit my wip by half, I guess a lot! LOL

Helen Hanson How many zeros in the advance??
